Tadamoun Al Amal association was created in 2013 by a group of volunteers who collaborated with several associations on many social and medical actions. We were selected among the finalists at Dir iddik Summit thanks to Ftour Al Amal, an annual action where fasting meals are served for nearly 1,000 people in Casablanca. Meals and service are fully provided by our volunteers. We also organize medical caravans, tutoring classes, school guidance, social support, surgical procedures...

What is your vision for Ftour Al Amal in the future?

Ftour Al Amal is an action that began in 2013 and will continue. It should be noted that we have served during the last 6 years more than 165 000 ftours, but the action is limited to the month of Ramadan although we work throughout the year.

What are your plans for the future?

Réponse

We have a large project under development called Dar Al Hay (or Maison de Quartier), which is a reception center and day care, with social and solidarity dimensions, in addition to income generating activities. The test center will be launched soon in the center of Casablanca, on Mohamed V Avenue, and expanding to all the popular neighborhoods of the city. In the long run, our dream is to have a Dar Al Hay in every city in the Kingdom.

What is your message to people reading this interview?

My message is for young and old alike because we need them as well, especially retirees with great experiences and lots of free time. We are a Muslim country and we are obligated as such to help each other in order to move forward.
