The Association Jeunesse Tamdoult for culture and development was created in the village Rehala, in the rural commune of Sidi Abdellah Ben Mbark in Tata in 2008. It works with young people to help them develop their skills. The association's main mission is to train young leaders who are innovative and can create value, serving as actors for sustainable development and positive change in their region.

The SIS (Social Innovative Students) project, launched in partnership with the American MEPI (Middle East Partnership Initiative), aims to create a generation of young entrepreneurs and promote social enterprise among high school and university students, while assisting them with the tools, skills and knowledge necessary for their academic, personal and professional development. It is an initiative through which high school and university students benefit from orientation and training sessions in entrepreneurship and business, as well as soft skills. The young people come from the regions of Tata, Ouarzazate and Zagora, with a special focus on rural areas. The goal is to provide them with opportunities and develop their creative spirit and leadership.

To introduce high school and university students to the various recruitment, training and cultural exchange programs available. To develop an entrepreneurial spirit among high school and university students. To encourage beneficiaries to start their own small businesses, find income-generating activities, and become interested in social entrepreneurship. To provide networking opportunities for youth with organizations and institutions active in the field of social entrepreneurship.

Through the different programs, projects and activities initiated by the Jeunesse Tamdoult association, it is clear that we are evolving from an amateur association into a more professional and better-structured organization. This has pushed us to pivot and focus on two specific themes, encouraging the civic engagement and citizenship of young people while consolidating their employability and their entrepreneurial spirit. It is in this sense that we are working to improve our organizational capacities in order to boost the confidence of our various partners, members and beneficiaries.

Civil society plays an important role in mediating and bringing together the different visions of society's actors, encouraging citizens to participate in the management of local affairs, and creating a sustainable development dynamic. This can only be achieved with professional and perfectly structured associations that are nationalistic and concerned with social issues, able to give back to the associative fabric through their drive and credibility and become guarantors of equality, freedom and democracy.
